Let the photos walk guests in

Three ways to make the apartment pages feel cinematic, plus two small extras, all live below with real photos of Abbaye, Toscane, Studio Cinema and the Duplex. Click, hover and swipe to try them. This preview shows the look and feel only: booking and prices don't work here, and nothing on the live site has changed.

Option 1

Opening shot

Recommended

The apartment page opens on a slow push-in across its best photos, crossfading every six seconds while the name fades up, like the first shot of a film. Here: the living room, dining room, kitchen, a bedroom, and the view over the Vézère.

Option 2

Full-screen photos

Recommended

Tap any photo and it grows from its thumbnail to full screen, with arrows, swiping and a strip of thumbnails; the photo on screen drifts very slowly. On the live site today, clicking a gallery photo does nothing.

Option 4, scroll reveal, is on these tiles too: scroll back up past the grid and they rise into place.

Option 3

Zoom into the room

Recommended

Pick an apartment from the list: its photo expands into the top of its page as the page opens, and going back reverses it. It makes moving around the site feel like stepping from room to room.

Option 5, living cards: hover a card before clicking and its photo drifts slowly (computers only).

Recommendation

Build 1, 2 and 3, and include 4 and 5

Options 1 to 3 are what make the site feel cinematic, and option 2 also fixes gallery photos that can't be opened today. Options 4 and 5 are small extras that cost little. Every effect stays still for visitors who've asked their device for reduced motion, and none of them depends on where the photos end up being hosted.
